Mike Talbot
Mike is a Senior Practitioner at the Foot & Leg Centre. Mike completed his Bachelor of Science Degree with majors in Microbiology, Immunology, Pharmacology and Toxicology in 1996 and went on to study his Bachelor of Podiatry, graduating Dux of his year in 2000. He also holds qualifications in therapeutic massage, sports massage, reflexology and shiatsu. Mike has focused his skills on foot mobilisation and manual therapy techniques since joining the Foot & Leg Centre in 2005, with a special interest in bio-mechanical and structural problems of the foot and leg. Michael Sarunic
Michael began his working life in a trade as a moulder and core maker, while also studying mechanical engineering. Michael found he was missing the element of human contact, so even though he loved seeing how things worked he decided to leave the foundry he was working at to become a carer with Barkuma, working in the disability sector and studied Podiatry graduating in 2003. In 2013 Michael became interested in Foot Mobilisation Therapy as it ‘just made sense’ – looking at the feet through an engineer’s eyes….and what a marvel of engineering they are! Emily Wilson
Emily is our Senior Practitioners Assistant and Social Media Manager and has been a valuable member of the F&LC team since 2008. Since completing a Bachelor of Nursing Degree in 1994, Emily has gained extensive experience within the health care setting having worked as a registered nurse in hospital, rehabilitative, remote and aged care facilities; as well as working within the pharmaceutical and chiropractic settings. Emma Laube
Emma has been with the Centre since the start of 2003. She began as a Practitioner Assistant behind the desk, and now has the role of administration of our Centres. Emma enjoys seeing clients make positive changes in their health and wellbeing, and enjoys the comradery of the F&LC family. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Movement, and has a keen interest in the human body and how it works. LEARN MORE..
Wendy
Wendy has been working at the Glenelg F&LC since 2014. Prior to this, she worked at a lovely bookshop for 15 years. Wendy is the first person you’ll meet at the Glenelg Centre. She will make you feel welcome and comfortable from the very first visit. Wendy finds the most enriching part of her role is the conversations she has with our clients. LEARN MORE..
Emma McNicol
Emma is our newest team member having joined the Foot & Leg Centre in June 2023 as a Practitioner Assistant at our Kent Town Centre. Emma has been studying a Bachelor of Counselling and a Practitioner Certification in Kinesiology, with the aim to guide others through their healing journeys and is excited to utilise these skills to support you on your road to recovery. Helen Herbert
Helen joined the Foot & Leg Centre in May 2023. Helen as travelled and worked in many parts of Australia and most recently was a Chiropractic Assistant in the Pilbara in WA as during the Covid-19 pandemic.
